Meet the Owners
Hey Y’all! We are Jeff and Courtney Stiles, the owners of Small Town Stiles.
Jeff and I met in 2020 during the pandemic and married shortly thereafter. We have moved several times but finally feel at home just outside of Nashville, TN. Once settling into our home in Gallatin, we welcomed our daughter, Emerson, to our family and she quickly became our whole world and our reason for everything we do.
How Small Town Stiles Started
While Jeff’s day job is in product development for a large retailer and I was once a 1st grade teacher turned corporate associate, you could say we both have always had an entrepreneur spirit about us. Since Jeff was 18, he has always had a side business of some kind. This was usually automotive related but he loves the idea of the backend business side of things. For myself, since I was a young girl, I have loved everything crafty. Pens, pencils, markers, paint, anything and everything. After welcoming our daughter, I needed to find a way to get back to my creative side while also finding something that Jeff and I could do together in the evenings… so we bought our first laser machine.
Every night after Emerson went to bed, we worked in our garage cutting pieces. Painting quickly took over my kitchen and shipping took half our bedroom. Seven months after buying our first laser machine, we purchased our second and things haven’t slowed down since. We have since moved into a larger space and will be expanding with additional equipment later this year.
Where We are Going
We have BIG plans and goals for our small business and none of it will be possible without you. Thank you for being here and supporting my dreams. We hope you love your door hanger and other wood decor.
